Hi!

I am new to Event Log Explorer, and I have a question about opening an exported log file in Excel...

I go through the steps of Exporting my log file, then choosing "Excel document" as my format. But when I open my exported .xls log, I get a "Renamed invalid sheet name" message.

I am using Excel 2003. It sems like it does not like the way Event Log Explorer is naming the worksheets. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Got it!
It's linked with naming sheets.
Sheet name is the name of the log window.
For log files, it's C:\filename.evt.
":" and "\" seems to be invalid for Excel 2003.
The problem will be fixed ASAP.
